Lazarus Lee was born Danielle Chang. A child of parents with fairly minor super powers she developed a not insubstantial amount of super strength at a fairly young age.

Her moderate super-strength was of great use in her job at a Sears fulfillment center (side note: Sears actually boarded the online train in the 90s and massively expanded its catalog service. It's not quite Amazon but it's close.) She was convinced it was the only power she had until she was in a terrible car wreck that she miraculously survived. This incident apparently triggered a secondary ability that would heal all wounds as long as her body was mostly intact. Not only that she could heal others. Not to the same extent as herself but still to an extraordinary degree. 

No longer content to only be a bystander in life, Danielle took up superheroics and gave herself the moniker Lazarus Lee. While not great in a fight, her go-to strategy was to outlast her opponent. But she mostly lent a hand to rescue work. Her abilities proved indispensable. She became a well-regarded figure in the superhero world while still maintaining a secret identity as Danielle Chang, warehouse worker.

Everything written above makes it all the more incredible that her life was saved by an 8 year-old girl. But that's a story for another day.
