It took awhile for the world to really catch up to the advanced human phenomenon. And to be honest it still hasn't fully adjusted quite yet.

Evey's part of the second generation to have never known a world before superheroes. But she's part of the first generation to come of age in world with superheroes with any real sense of stability. And I'm kinda being more than a bit liberal with my use of the word "stability".

We're hoping to get into that a bit more in the future. But it'll never be the focus because this is Evey's story. Not the story of how this world came to be.
