There's a lot of waiting on Nyre. Waiting in line, waiting for appointments, or waiting on some other thing. It's often tedious. Different parts of the city deal with it in different ways. Over in the neighborhood of Numdys, there's a tradition of performing plays for sapients waiting in line, and permanent plays in waiting areas that have been in near constant performance for years. The quality of these shows often depends on the time of day/month/year and is often beside the point. However, there is the unfortunate fact that they've attracted their own audiences that have to wait to see them. Luckily in Numdys, there's always another play that's about to go on for a group that's waiting. Even if they're waiting to get into another show. 

Different species have their own ways of dealing with waiting too. The Speo are sapients who are collections of multiple small individuals that share a single mind. When they wait, they split off from themselves and do other things, immediately returning when the wait time is over. Of course this can get complicated as they often get caught up waiting for multiple things at the same time. 

Izzy and Lore don't have to do much waiting today. So they don't have to devise any method for dealing with waiting. Though to be fair, being humans, they'd probably just wait while stewing in their own growing frustration.
