Izzy would often have to ask teachers and authority figures to call her by her preferred name. They'd mess up on this a lot. Which led to some confusion among fellow students. It usually took a couple of months but everyone got used to it. Only for her to have to start all over again next time she had to introduce herself. 

She's gotten to a point where everyone knows her as Izzy no matter what. Or at least she had gotten to a point. It's really hard to correct anyone right now.
