It's not that Izzy constantly ignores herself. It's more that she doesn't listen to things when they're too inconvenient to her current mindset. Or at least she tries not to listen. It can actually be pretty helpful at times. There's a lot of things that she prides herself on that she wouldn't have achieved if she had listened. But the thing is, that there's often a lot of important nuance that's lost because of this.  But she's so tired now that she kinda has no choice but to hear herself out.
